Premium Boarding
Located in the beautiful Alleghany Mountains, our Bed & Barkfast is your dog’s vacation destination. Why send your dog to a boarding facility when they can enjoy 11 acres of adventures filled with every toy they can imagine? Our in-home boarding offers your dog a place where they will be comfortable and have a lot of fun while you are away from home. We board exclusively in home and customize your dog’s stay to their individual needs. Your dog will not be spending their days hidden away in a kennel; instead they will be at our feet while we are cooking dinner, sharing our couch (if you allow it) while we watch a movie, and hiking, playing, and having fun with other canine friends during their days here. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family and will be just as spoiled as my own dogs!
Exclusive Access
Currently, only alumni to my puppy program will be able to board with me. There are plans to allow other dog friendly dogs in the future, but for now, we are a close knit family. Boarding slots are very limited so your dog is as comfortable as possible (currently only accepting 2 adult dogs at a time, so reserve ahead of time!)
Playful Adventures
Your dog will receive multiple walks and/or play sessions daily so their days are filled with fun! They will hike alongside me and my dogs and enjoy their favorite activities, be that fetch, tug, or trick training! On occasion we will also have outings to local parks or stores so your pup gets to enjoy a variety of activities while boarded here. Please let us know what your pup loves and we will make sure they get to enjoy their favorite games!
Maintaining Training
Boarding with us means your pup will continue to practice (or brush up on) all of the skills they learned during puppy camp. Leaving your puppy with a kennel or with random matchup through various dog sitting websites means your pup may get paired with someone who will not maintain their training. With us, your companion will continue following all those good habits they learned while they were a young puppy. If you need your dog to not just maintain, but relearn any behaviors, please inquire about refresher courses.
All Inclusive
Many other boarding facilities charge a base fee and will charge extra for services such as your dog getting a frozen Kong, treats, walks, or even having a bed accessible. Here, everything is included in your dog’s stay. There will be no extra charges for your dog to get treats, play with toys, or have a warm, cozy bed to lie on. Your dog only has to bring their own food, the rest is on us! We will even throw in a complimentary photoshoot for anyone who is here for 5 days or longer.
Pricing
Dogs 35 pounds and under: $80/day
Dogs over 35 pounds: $100/day
Dogs who cannot be crated are an additional $10/day
Dogs who cannot be left home alone are an additional $20/day
In order for your dog to board with us:
They must be up to date on vaccines including DHPP, Rabies, and Bordatella.
They must not attend doggy daycare or dog play groups for 2 weeks prior to arriving.
If your dog shows any sign of illness (runny eyes, coughing, sneezing, diarrhea) inform us immediately. You will need an additional contact where the dog can be taken should they start to show symptoms after arriving. We take the utmost care in maintaining a clean, healthy environment in our home.
And, of course, they MUST be friendly with other dogs and people!

We will meet you to pick up your dog if the distance is within 5 hours round trip (for an additional charge) or can meet for only gas/toll fees within a 2 hour round trip. We promise the travel to get your dog here will be worth the peace of mind and daily updates you will receive!
